Alzheimer’s Society free wills now available

You’ve always been able to come to us for your will writing service needs.  But last year we introduced our free will writing service in partnership with Cancer Research UK.  However we are now thrilled to announce a new partnership.  This means you can have your wills written or revised for free supported by the Alzheimer’s Society free wills programme.

There are several ways you can get a free will nowadays.  Including kits and programmes that enable you to do it via yourselves or via a practitioner who isn’t a solicitor.  But we’ve highlighted the risk of this several times in the past.  As has money saving expert Martin Lewis.  But if you can get you will professionally drawn up by a local solicitor for nothing, then why would you not?

What Free Will services do we offer?

Now you’ve a choice of supporting either Cancer Research UK with a gift or pledge in your will.  And now the Alzheimer’s Society free wills service is available too.  So there’s never been a better time to ensure your loved ones are taken care of should the worst happen.

You can find out the incredible difference your Alzeimer’s Sociey free wills can make here. In summary, doing this can help people living with dementia and their families.  You’ll help give them support at some of the toughest moments in their life through:

  • Funding research: Working towards a cure.  Understanding more about the causes of dementia.  And developing treatments.
  • Essential support lines: From companion calls to welfare calls, home care and support to activity groups, the society is dedicated to provide advice and support over daily challenges of living with dementia or being a family carer.
  • Campaigning for change: A gift in your Will can be a powerful statement against injustice and help make sure we’re here to continue to champion the rights of people living with dementia, their carers and families.

If you’d like to discuss this or any of the other will options available to you, please get in touch.  We’d love to hear from you.
