How to access will writing in Bamber Bridge

We are often asked how someone can go about arranging will writing in Bamber Bridge. There are many different ways you can go about this, and we will make it as simple and straightforward as we can for you.

There are many good reasons that you should have a will in place, whatever your age or personal circumstances, and this post will help you if you have any doubts.  The important thing to remember about arranging a will is to do it with a Solicitor.  This article details what Money Saving Expert Martin Lewis warns are things to look out for when getting your will arranged.

We have over 20 years of legal experience, and have had our base in Bamber Bridge for the last seven of those.  We operate a professional yet friendly and welcoming practise and are proud to call this community home. But there are many ways of getting legal support and arranging will writing in Bamber Bridge, and here’s a summary of ways that we can help.

Visit us in branch

Contact us to make an appointment to call in and we can discuss the options and find the right will solution for you.  We are well positioned on Station Road and do have steps up to the branch entrance, so if these will cause you difficulty, we can make alternative arrangements for you, just let us know.

Free law clinics

Roughly once a month we try to run a free law clinic in branch; typically on a Saturday afternoon.  We advertise these quite widely on our social channels, so give us a follow on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram to be first to hear about the free clinic dates.

Home visits

We understand that for a number of reasons, many people can’t make it into branch to get their wills made.  For that reason, we’re happy to make arrangements to come and visit you in your home at a time to suit you.  So if you live in Bamber Bridge, Walton le Dale, South Ribble or the wider Preston area get in touch and we can get this planned in.

Online appointments

If home visits aren’t suitable for you, yet getting into branch may be difficult, perhaps a zoom or video appointment online might work for you?  If you are comfortable having your appointment in this way or perhaps live a little further away and can’t get into branch, If you have access to a smartphone, computer or tablet then get in touch and we can arrange a zoom call to plan your will.

Language or translation services

If you’re concerned about language difficulties during the process of having your will created, perhaps we can help.  If you are Polish with English as your second language then we can provide assistance in legal translation services during the process of getting your will created.  Just let us know if we can help with this.

If cost is an issue….

In many cases, having a will created doesn’t necessarily need to cost you a thing.  As part of our membership with Cancer Research UK, we are able to offer a free simple will writing service. All the protection and assurance you will need from your will, but without spending a penny.  You can of course leave a gift in your will to CRUK, but you don’t necessarily have to.  You can learn more about our free will writing service here.
