Where to go for free legal advice

There’s a few things to consider when you’re looking for free legal advice.  But whatever you are looking for, if you’re based in the Bamber Bridge, Walton Le Dale, South Ribble or general Preston area, we’re sure we can help or point you in the right direction.

Is there really such a thing as FREE legal advice.

Yes, there is. Here at Marley Solicitors, we’re always happy to hear from you.  If you have a question pertaining to an area of law that we work in, we’re happy to chat over your requirements with you.  If it’s not something we cover, we’re usually able to point you in the direction of the type of firm who would be able to help you.

We’re conveniently located in an easily accessible part of Bamber Bridge, and are also contactable by phone, email or most social platforms too. If you need free legal advice just let us know what you are looking for, and if we can help you, we absolutely will.

What’s more, we cover many different areas of law. And we regularly hold free law clinics where you can call in with no appointment and discuss what you’re looking for help with. The best way to find out about these is by following us on our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages.

And what about no win no fee.

Absolutely.  Depending what you are looking for, we are often able to work for you on a no-win-no-fee basis.   A no win no fee agreement in it’s simplest terms, means you will not be charged if your claim is not successful. It therefore takes the risk out of making a claim.  If you wish to discuss if this is something that could work for you you’re welcome to contact us to discuss.

Do I have to use a local solicitor?

Of course not, but there are a number of benefits to doing so.  There are many solicitors out there who may offer free legal advice.  But for those who want a more personal touch, or with a specific problem which requires more a comprehensive understanding and customised approach, engaging the help of a solicitor who is local can make all the difference.

There are also a number of other factors to consider when looking for a solicitor, and you can learn a little more about that here.

What if I can’t get out to see a solicitor.

Again, just get in touch.  Often we are able to discuss matters over the phone with those looking for free legal advice.  But once we’ve established that you’re looking for a service we can offer, we can also offer home visits and zoom video appointments for those who need it too.
