We’re putting a new spin on the traditional Two for Tuesday theme and supporting the local area. We’ve donated not one, but TWO vouchers for local store Homesense in Preston as prizes for a local residents fundraising raffle in Walton le Dale.
Our community is so important to us, it’s where we live and where we work. It’s also where most of our clients live. Being an integral part of the business community is always important to us. So here in Bamber Bridge where we are based, when we heard about a local fundraising event in the neighbouring village to raise money to buy a defibrillator as well as raise money for local charities including the foodbank, MIND and St Catherine’s Hospice, we were only too happy to get involved. Scores of other individuals and other businesses also took part making the charity raffle a huge success.
Holland House Residents in neighbouring Walton Le Dale initially created the fundraising group back in 2019 which went from strength to strength. It’s since seen hundreds raised for great causes, and we were only to happy to contribute. Now at 1,500 members strong the active group is still growing. It’s a real credit to it’s creators and those living and working in the local area.
This was an amazing effort by the local community who are continuing to do some great work. So please show them some support if you are able. We’ve certainly been proud to play our small part.
